Private Lessons

Lisa Korak, of The Next Stage, teaches one-on-one private acting lessons for students age 8-18.

Lisa provides a nurturing, goal-oriented atmosphere for ambitious students. She strongly believes that individual lessons assist in the creation of the skill and confidence that is required to become a successful young actor.

All lessons are created for each individual student including such subjects as improvisation, audition etiquette, monologues, song coaching, characterization and text analysis. All students are requested to work toward short and long term goals. Examples of such goals may be mastering a monologue to be used for theatre auditions, develop strong improvisational skills to be used for commercial work, or exercises and theatre games in order to improve language and communication skills.

Most importantly, students must have fun! Lisa prides herself in her ability to make learning the art of acting a fun activity in a structured environment.

Lessons are one hour in length and scheduling is flexible. Students may take lessons as frequently as weekly or as preparation for an audition or performance. Schedule recommendations vary with each child.
